Details : PMI of satellite parts by using the latest PMI equipment.

4)Project : Hydro Treating and Sulphonation Gas Unit Project.
Client : L&T Group II Project (HARP)
Details : Ultrasonic Testing of piping (3/4” to 6”) by using the digital UT Machine DIGISCAN.

Field of Experience
•Verification and certification of jacket and topside facility fabrication. Following activities were carried out.
Verification of IFC drawing against AFC Drawings, Witnessing of Welding Procedure qualification, Welder’s Qualification for tubular, structural, piping materials, Approval of QAP, Various Procedures, Review of Manufacturing Test Certificates of Cans and Tubular, pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, valves etc.

Goods Inward Inspection, Material Verification, Fit up, weld visual, Dimensional Control, NDT (RT, UT, MPI, LPT), Blasting and Painting (DFT & Holiday) of structural materials like Jacket legs, various Elevation Panels, Conductors, Piles, Cross Brazing, Mud-mat, Flooding & Grouting system, Riser clamps, Riser protector, Boat landing, Barge bumper, Shock cell, Pile gripper, Pile guide, Conductors, Buoyancy Tank, Riser protector, Rigging Platform, Anode installation. Verification of fabrication of Cellar Deck, Main Deck, Switchgear Room, Spreader Frame, Stairs, Chequered Plates &Grating installation, Equipments and Piping spools erection.

•Inspection and certification of laying of Cross Country LPG Pipeline including Welding procedure qualifications, Welder qualifications, P.E Coating procedure qualification, Yard P.E Coating online inspection and certification , stage wise inspection carried out during ROW , Stringing, Welding, NDT, Field Joint Coating, Lowering, Holiday testing, Backfilling, Tie in Joint, Hydro testing, Drying and commissioning.

•Verification and Certification of Pressure vessel fabrication including PQT, WQT, Material Identification, witnessing of Tensile, Impact, Hardness, Chemical testing, Cutting, Forming of Shell and Dish ends, Verification of Stress relieving, Fit-up, Welding, RT, UT, MPI, LPT, Final dimension, Blasting and Painting, Hydro-test, Pneumatic test, Re–NDT after Pressure Testing, Review of manufacturer’s dossier.

•Verification of Hot taping of Flare Line, Sour Gas lines and fabrication, Erection of piping spools along with metering Skids, Civil foundations and structures at Gas Processing Plant.

•Reliability Centered Maintenance pilot study for compressor module by using DNV’S latest RCM software “ORBIT”. Following main activities are carrying out. Project kick off & data collection, Screening Analysis by conducting group session with Asset Operators, Functional review and Boundary definition, Acceptance criteria and decision parameters documentation, Review of legislation/ Safety cases documents if applicable and preparation of maintenance philosophy document, ORBIT RCM set up, Detailed RCM analysis- FMEA &Risk Analysis, Job packing, CMMS Implementation, Establishing living program and Gap analysis for adjusting the strategy.

•Rigid sub sea pipeline, riser installation and platform topside launcher and receiver installation. Approval of pipe laying and riser installation QAP, installation manual, Diving Procedure, NDT, Field Joint Coating Procedure. PQR, WQT by GMAW and FCAW. Witnessing Load Testing of Davits and NDT of critical joints. Review of calibration certificates of Pneumo gauges, Load cell and davit wire ropes, Concrete coated pipes and fitting. Verification of pipeline coordinates from alignment sheet with Survey, Line pipe handling and cleaning, Anode distribution, Welding of initiation head and Bow string fixing, stringer angle and tension, Field joint coating, Buckle detector insertion and retrieval, termination, metrology for riser, Lifting the spools, welding, NDT, Field Joint coating and lowering of riser spool, Crossing, free span, As built video survey of riser clamps and riser by SAT and Air diving.

•Verification of Fabrication and erection of GRP Piping for Produced Water at Offshore. Shaving, Joining, Curing and supports as per technical Specifications.

•In process inspection of GRP Wind Turbine Blades. Raw Material inspection and testing for Glass Fabrics, Resins, Hardener, PU Paints, Connecting metallic items, Cutting of glass fabrics, PVC foam, Styro form as per standard template, Weighing, Mixing and storage of resin and hardener, Inspection of moulds, Laying of glass fabrics, Placement of pre- fabricated items, Application vacuum on fabrics, Resin infusion, Pre-curing, Joining of two shells, Post curing, Release of blade from mould, Identification and rectification of NCRs, Surface preparation, Painting, Verification of momentum balancing of three blades to make a set, Dispatch, Functional Testing of GRP System.

•Online inspection and product certification of Casing pipes, Tubing to API 5CT/5B, Line pipes to API 5L and ASTM specifications. Following stage wise inspections are carried out. Inspection of Billets, Stretch Reducing, Upsetting, End cutting, Beveling, MPI, Electromagnetic Inspection, Threading (buttress), Verification of LC, Taper, Stand off, Depth, Coupling inspection, J value for coupling, Hydro Testing, Final Visual/Dimension, Check Testing of samples (Tensile, Impact, Chemical and Corrosion).

•In process inspection Hot Rolled coils and ERW Pipes. Stage wise inspection carried out during Electric Arc Furnace melting, Ladle Analysis, Continuous Casting, Rolling, NDT, Coiling, Verification of Fish Tail, Telescopisity, and Coil tightness, Dimension, Check testing of samples for Physical and Chemical Properties. Slitting of coil, Online UT, ERW, Seam Normalizing, Eddy Current Testing, De magnetization, Hydro Test, End UT, Final Visual Dimensional Inspection, Witnessing of Tensile, Hardness, Micro, Flattening, and Chemical Tests.

•Inspection of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Cu- Ni, DSS, CS NACE pipes and pipefittings, Valves, Flanges, Fire Fighting Equipments and witnessing mandatory & Supplementary Tests as per client approved QAP and Codes/Standards.

•Hands on experience in Tensile, Impact, Hardness, Inter- Granular Corrosion, Hydrogen Induced Corrosion, and Stress Induced Corrosion Testing of various materials. Conducted Procedure Qualification and Welder Qualification for various Onshore/Offshore Projects.

•Hands on experience in TKY Ultrasonic Testing, Radiography Review and Magnetic Particle Testing of offshore and onshore Structures, Piping, Pressure Vessels, Forgings, Castings, Valves.

•Familiar with codes, Standards and Specification like AWS, ASME, ANSI, API, ASNT, BS, NACE, MSSP, TEMA, DNV Offshore Standards and PVHO.

•Done practical on Residual Stress Calculation using different techniques, Insitu metallographic inspection of materials.

•Practical observation of different metals joining process like Laser Beam Welding, Induction Bonding, Diffusion Bonding, Laser Beam Welding, Induction Bonding Diffusion Bonding, Friction Welding, Tandem Submerged Arc Welding, Plasma Arc Welding, MIG/MAG Welding, Resistance Welding and its various parameters.


Comments
I have got good background in Welding and NDT and material selection. This can be best utilised by the company for your Oil & Gas projects. I worked as a client representative of ONGC, India during the fabrication of jacket and topside in Malaysia and handled the job independently. Similarly I can independently handle any assigned projects to me. My sound knowledge in piping field and various types’ materials can be utilised for any piping activities.My background as a safety officer to some projects can help me to perform and educate others about Health and Safety during any projects. Company will be benefited in the Maintenance field by utilizing my exposure in the field of Reliability Centered Maintainence of equipments and piping. CSWIP 3.1, my additional qualification along with ASNT level II can well be used for further welding and NDT requirements of the company. With my sound experience in various testing method of different materials, I am confident that I can contribute in material selection and testing.
