Over nine years of progressive experience as a Aircraft Mechanic and as a Nondestructive Technician on the AH-64 Apache, UH-60 Black Hawk, UH-1Huey, CH-47 Chinook and on the OH-58 Kiowa Helicopter. Performed scheduled and unscheduled inspections, disassemblies, repairs and reassemblies on major aircraft systems to include rotor systems, transmissions, engines, and airframe components. Trained and certified lower level NDI personnel to obtain higher NDT levels. Performed Audits on NDI Programs on work sites. Currently a level 3 in 4 out of five methods including Penetrant, Ultrasound, Magnetic Particle, and Eddy current.

Performed Nondestructive inspections on aircraft components and related items using Dye penetrant, Magnetic particle, X-Ray, Ultrasound and Eddy current procedures. Removed and replaced power train quills, transmission-adapting parts, rotary wing hubs and tanks. Disassembled friction dampers and hangar assemblies. Disassembled, repaired, reassembled, adjusted, balanced and aligned power train components, systems and subsystems to include main and tail rotor hub assemblies according to directives. Ensured proper posting of historical data to maintenance records on over 5,000 tracked items using the U.S. Government automated aviation computer system. Maintained accountability of over $500,000 worth of tools and equipment.
