Experience
Present Job Description:
1. Carry out visual inspections of Insulated Pressure Equipment and linework in Tabangao Refinery and SGEI Terminal to specifically check for Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) and External Chloride Stress Corrosion Cracking (ECSCC) following the result and assessment of the CUI/ECSCC study based on DS-1 Procedure, DSM-1510002-SP-20.
2. Recommend further removal of insulation if extensive inspection is required.
3. Coordinate with Operations, Technology, Maintenance and Projects Departments in assessing the feasibility of temporary or permanent insulation removal.
4. Recommend appropriate required Non Destructive Examination (NDE) and evaluate results.
5. Recommend appropriate remedial measures (e.g. blasting, painting, sectional replacement, etc.) as required.
6. Document findings, recommendations and actions in comprehensive inspection reports. These reports include corrosion loop drawings and/or Process Equation Flow Schemes (PEFS) showing the extent of insulation removal and remedial measures done.
7. Organize and maintain files related to CUI/ECSCC in a common folder. (Assessment worksheet, tally/summary of tags)
8. Facilitate Desktop Assessment of insulated lines and equipments.
9. Facilitate walk-through of affected lines and equipments and evaluate based on on-site findings and make necessary recommendations or actions to be taken.
10. Ensure integrity of plant equipment and pipelines, in view of the large volume of identified defects.
11. Organize and maintain file photos of on-site mitigation prior to documentations.
