Experience
11 years experience in the field of nondestructive testing.
Act as Team Leader carrying out various tasks such as preparing all equipment and consumables on site; Organizing and planning of inspection activities; Preparing of work permits, risk assessments, and job safety analysis; Coordinating with client representatives ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with the approved procedures and as per company’s’ safety policy; Supervising and assisting local technicians in performing nondestructive testing; Training of technicians/ trainees in the use of all NDT related equipment and on how to calibrate or troubleshoot; Perform various nondestructive testing; And closing out of reports.
Other tasks performed include carrying out of Rope access NDT on various offshore platforms, FPSOs, and Drilling Rigs. Carried out UT flaw detection on welds; Corrosion survey/thickness survey on process piping, high pressure piping, pressure vessels, columns, bulkheads, buoyancy tanks, and legs; Visual inspection; Dye Penetrant Testing; And Magnetic Particle Testing. Other nonrelated NDT tasks include fabricating/installing of claddings/wind walls, derrick painting maintenance/repairs, offshore crane structural maintenance, drop surveys and other rig repairs utilizing Rope Access.
