Comments
Please accept my resume¡¦ for a nondestructive inspector or any other position that would be suitable for my skill set. I am confident that my background and skills will prove to be an effective match for your requirements.

I am an NAS-410 and ASNT qualified level III nondestructive tester with over 11 years of NDT experience. I am currently ASNT Level III certified in ultrasonics, eddy current, liquid penetrant, visual and magnetic particle. I also hold an AWS CWI and an FAA A&P license. My initial ASNT required NDT class room training hours were earned at Spartan School of Aeronautics¡¦ Nondestructive Testing program. I later earned an Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance to further improve my skills. I updated my NDE skills by attending classes in phased array ultrasonics, eddy current array, conventional ultrasonic crack sizing classes and TomoView. Recently, I upgraded my certifications to ASNT level three after attending seven of Karl Kraft¡¦s ASNT level III preparatory classes at my own expense.

I have diverse nondestructive evaluation experience working in manufacturing, contract field teams and laboratory settings. The majority of my NDT has involved NDT on hardware of a critical and time sensitive nature. While working at Williams international, I inspected manufactured jet engine components using all five primary NDT methods. I preformed critical NDT on US military aircraft while working as a defense contractor in Balad, Iraq. Performing NDE on space shuttle and space station composite hardware was one of my many tasks while working for NASA¡¦s Safety and Mission Assurance. I gained valuable experience with advanced nondestructive inspection equipment while working for Olympus NDT. Recently, I worked in Kuwait as a US military aviation nondestructive inspector contractor building/operating a new aerospace nondestructive inspection lab.

My diverse work experiences have been positive ones due in part to my interpersonal skills. I work well within a team or independently. I am reliable, organized and enthusiastic to learn. I am sure that these attributes will carry over and become an asset while working at your facility.

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
