Performing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) of the CJP welds including pipe on the following projects: Ford Field roof structure and Old Warehouse renovations, including bolt tension verification in Detroit, MI.

Reviewed design drawings and project specifications for conformance. Conducted structural steel inspection for the University of Michigan’s Hill Auditorium renovation in Ann Arbor, MI. The structural steel on this project is approximately 100 years old. Performed Magnetic Particle (MT) and Ultrasonic Weld Testing (UT), as well as sprayed-on fireproofing testing. The renovated project was designed by renowned architect Albert Kahn and also received the American Institute of Architects 2005 Honor Award for Architecture.

Reviewing design drawings and project specifications for conformance. Performed construction monitoring, quality assurance for the Hilton Garden Inn in Detroit, MI, a new 10-story, pre-cast façade panel building. Conducted non-destructive weld testing and bolt tension verification.

Conducted visual inspections of 11-foot diameter pipe welds for the Haggerty Road Pumping Station D/B, and construction monitoring at the 15 Mile Sinkhole Project, which are owned and operated by the City of Detroit’s Water and Sewerage Department.

Providing construction monitoring, weld/structural steel inspections on
various municipal, hospitals, schools, retail, commercial and industrial projects throughout Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. This included concrete, aggregate, asphalt, soil and other types of testing.
