Over the past 22 years I have worked on a variety of Fabrication Projects throughout the UK and Europe. In recent years I have been increasingly involved in Quality Control activities leading to me being promoted to Quality Assurance/Control. My duties include the hiring & running of a QA Engineering team and QC Welding Inspection team whose duties include Certification of Welding , General Workshop Inspection , Documentation Control, update of Welder’s Certification , running Procedures , monitoring of welding activities , monitor and review NDT requirements , carry out Welding Audits , Dimensional Checks , Production of Quality Documentation packages , NDT Coordination & Radiograph Interpretation. Reviewing of all Operating Procedures confirming they adhere to the Project Specifications.
