DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• NDE inspection carried out as per standards and test plan.
• Conducting UT scanning, Radiographic testing, Magnetic particle testing, Liquid Penetrant testing, Hardness testing and Visual of welds and parent metal of piping, equipments and structures.
• Competent in using special ‘Safety tools Allmet’, (EX II 2 G c T3/ II 2 D c 1850 Certified Pneumatic Grinding Tools)
• Supervised radiation safety barrier as per (RPS) to barricade test area for radiography activities.
• Evaluate of radiographic films.
• Co-coordinating with maintenance and operation department for accustomed to a permit to work environment.
• Detection and monitoring of hydrogen induced crack on pressure vessels, gas and crude production lines.
• Detection of corrosion and other service defects on various vessels, pipelines, effluent water lines, flare units, gas lift units, hydrocyclone system, riser units, sea chest units, mooring system etc.
• Reviewed, identify piping plan, layout ISO and P&ID line list, test package and creating full system isometrics and inspection report.
• Maintain the records of inspection and testing till the end of contract.

• Witnessing the procedure qualification record (PQR) as per WPS.
• Witnessing the welder qualification test (WQT) as per approved WPS.
• Ensure that welding carried out as per company approved WPS and welder qualification.
• Witnessing identify certification, dimensional and mill cert.
• Fit-up inspection, cutting, misalignment, grove angle, root face, root opening, tack weld and preheat temperature, line and joint number, joint surface cleanliness.
• Visual and dimension inspection of weld profile surface, weld defects, arc strike, inter pass and post weld cleaning and dimensional clearance.
• To ensure that all welding and associated actions of work are carried out by applying testing criteria in accordance with applicable specification standard and evaluate results.
• Performing NDT activities Ultrasonic Flaw Detector scanning, Radiography Interpretation, MPI and DPI on item before, during and after fabrication process.
• Conducting confident making decisions, good inward inspection, welding verification for welding repair works as per Non-conformance report, NDE request RT to evaluate result of weld defects from UTFD scanning and Film Interpretation.
• Surveillance and final inspection over the finish item at workshop and at field prior delivery to client.
• Work among QC Main-cont / Client Representative timely and expedite completion of job.
• To prepare final documentation of NDT activities, welding summary, and filling off reports in accordance to Main-cont / Client reporting and documentation system.
