Unit Inspector for the Olefins 2 unit at the INEOS Chocolate Bayou Works located in Alvin, Texas. I currently have the same responsibilities as listed below for PetroSpect Inspection Services.

PetroSpect Inspection Services 07/2002-09/2006
I held the position of Unit Inspector for the Olefins 2 unit at the INEOS Chocolate Bayou Works located in Alvin, Texas. My job responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following;
•Responsible for the safety of all inspection team members working within my assigned areas. Regularly attend and/or hold JSA’s and safety meetings prior to the start of specific inspection activities.
•Coordinate the inspection activities for fixed equipment and piping. Responsible for maintaining PSM compliance with all fixed equipment.
•Coordinate inspection resources for on-site activities as well as coverage of repaired and/or fabricated items at off-site vendor facilities.
•Conduct shop audits on off-site vendor facilities.
•Review and approve the final documentation for fixed equipment and process piping.
•Ensure all inspections are properly documented using both the electronic and hard copy filing systems including the updating of the corrosion monitoring (UltraPipe) and RBI software (TOCA).
•Prioritize the inspection findings and generate the notifications in SAP. I work with the Maintenance Coordinators and Job Planners to help manage the backlog of insection notifications.
•Responsible for developing and maintaining TAR inspection plans.
•Assist in the annual inspection scheduling and budgeting process.
•Ensure all required documentation for newly fabricated equipment is received and reviewed for accuracy prior to the equipment being placed into service. Ensure the newly fabricated equipment has been implemented into the inspection program.
•Serve as a point of contact for inspection and technical expert for inspection activities.
•Responsible for the direct supervision for unit support inspectors. I coordinate their daily work activities.
•Participate in the unit’s planning and scheduling process and assisting with implementing this same process within the inspection team.
•I perform Infrared Surveys on the boilers, furnaces, tanks, I&E breaker/panel boxes and the occasional request from operations and maintenance.
•I perform Internal/External/CUI inspection along with following shop fabrication of pressure vessels and piping.

Cooperheat-MQS 09/2001-06/2002
I worked on the EL-Paso project where Cooperheat-MQS was responsible for the implementation of an inspection program for all there pump stations. My job responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following; the systemization of P&ID’s for process piping. Building job packages and establishing the base line thickness readings for all the fixed equipment and piping circuits.

Petrochem Inspection Services 08/2000-09/2001
My responsibilities included the sketching and taking ultrasonic thickness readings of piping and equipment.

Plumlee Associates Inc. 07/1999-08/2000
I worked on the TIP’s project at Lyondell-Citgo refinery. Plumlee Associates was in partnership with Pro-Inspect Inspection for the implementation of the inspection program at the Lyondell facility. My job responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following; building and routing of piping circuit packages. I did the field assessment of the process piping in the units for thickness measurement placement. I oversaw the quality control of the analysis forms that were completed for the piping circuits and equipment. I audited twenty-percent of the work completed by our department to check job performance and the accuracy of the work completed. I assisted the API inspectors and I was the point of contact between my company and the engineering department. I had supervision over all the field technicians and I coordinate all there daily work activities. I also assisted the Data Coordinator by reviewing discrepancies in the corrosion monitoring software.

Petrochem Inspection Services 04/1999-07/1999
My job responsibilities included the on-stream inspection, sketching, taking thickness readings and the evaluation of the piping systems in various units.

The Inspection Group 01/1998-04/1999
My job responsibilities included ultrasonic testing of piping and reconfiguration of field drawings. I walked down P&ID’s in the field and made red line corrections and submitting them to the customer.
I also performed visual inspections on piping.

Southern Technical Services 01/1997-12/1997
During my employment at STS my responsibilities included the development of film and assisting the RT trainer in his duties. I also worked several TAR’s where I had the opportunity to work one on one API’s and CWI’s .
