Currently I’m a level 2 UT operator for a API / ASTM spiral mill in Pittsburg CA. I work with automated UT machines, base plate examination machines, and manual UT devices for prove-up using shearwave to detect flaws with 45-60-70 degree transducers. I also use dual element transducers for thickness readings as well as laminations.
