Shop visual inspection of single/multi-pass fillet and groove welds on box columns. Other duties included; performing NDT MT/UT, checking material I.D, monitoring pre heat and inter-pass temperature and checking weld parameters for conformance with the submitted WPS’s.

Field visual inspection of interior/exterior multi-pass fillets welds for bell and spigot lap joints. Other duties included; performing NDT MT/UT, monitoring pre heat and inter-pass temperature and checking weld parameters for conformance with the submitted WPS’s. Lastly, witnessing/verifying the performance of air tests on completed joints.

necessary paperwork in accurate and legible manner.
