Experience:

I have 10+ years in the NDT field. My experience is mostly in the oil and petro chemical industry. I have traveled all over the United States doing inspection in power plants, gas and oil refineries, paper mills, and pipe lines.

POWER PLANTS
*I have several years of experience working in power plants all over the United States such as TXU and AEP. I have done many shutdowns and in service inspections. I utilized different methods of NDT in various sections of the plants and working with different contractors. My experience consists of Digital RT Surverys, UT Surveys with MT and PT inspections. I also did full boiler inspections, valve repar and replacements. I would report to contractors or plant employees with results daily and with the final reports at the end of the projects.

OIL and GAS
*I have several years of experience in Oil and Gas Refineries. I have traveled all over the US to these refineries. They include Hovensa in Saint Croix, US Virgin Islands and the BP Gas Field in Prudhoe Bay Alaska. I have also worked for Chevron, Exxon Mobile, and Motiva. I have done shutdown work and in service inspections in these plus many others. I utilized different inspection methods in various units of the plants. I worked daily at Delek Refining in Tyler TX for 1.5 years. At this plant I used Digital RT survey for corrosion checking low point and high point vents, elbows, and doing baseline inspections on replaced lines.I would report to contractors or plant employees with results daily and with the final reports at the end of the projects.

PIPELINES
*I have done RT on pipelines all over Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. These inspections also consisted of doing PT and MT on fab spools as well as some UT Thickness. I would report to the CWI inspector with any rejections or problems immediately. I would also report to the CWI at the end of every day.

PULP and PAPER
*I have several years of experience doing pulp and paper inspections, mostly during shutdowns. I utilized different inspection methods in all parts of the mills. I did piping surveys using UT Thickness. Tank and Pressure Vessel Inspections using RT, MT, PT, and/or UT. Full Boiler Inspections using UT, RT, PT on the inside of the boiler and MT and UT on the outside. I also helped to start an inspection office in a GP mill in Crossett, Arkansas. I would locate drawings from the main plant office, then copy, and make an inspection file. This was for Acuren and the plant so there would be an easy way to find files for each tank and digester in the plant. We would report and file all our findings for every tank and pressure vessel. I also did this for Piping Iso’s. If the original was not found I would make the drawings and give it to our computer department. They would in return make an electronic drawing using AutoCad for our files.

Comments:

I have 10 years experience in NDT. I love the field and plan on working in this area until I retire. I am a hard worker who does not call in or job hop. I am looking for a permanent position and I am willing to relocate. I do not mind traveling as long as it not extensively. I plan on getting my Level III in at least RT but hopefully all methods. I also want to get my CWI and API. Although most my experience is in the oil and petro chemical areas, I would love to work in other areas especially aerospace.
