NDT Specialist
October 2011-Present ZF Wind Power Gainesville, LLC,
Gainesville, GA
NDT Level II PAUT, MT certified in accordance with
SNT-TC-1A. I am Phased Array trained thru Lavender NDT for
welding, forging and casting inspection.
I am currently using the Olympus Focus LT 16/128
Phased Array inspection unit for performing Ultrasonic
immersion inspections on forged gears and pinions with
Olympus Tomoveiw 2.9 Software for data acquisition and
analysis; also I am using the Epoch 1000i handheld unit for
all contact secondary inspections. I also have experience
with the Olympus Omniscan MX. I am also inspecting forged
gears and pinions with a Magnetic Particle wet florescent
test bench built by K,D Flux tech out of Germany as well as
performing Acid Nital Etch grinding burn test on forged
gears and pinions.
My primary responsibilities are detection and
location of discontinuities in forged gears, pinions and
cast gear housings. I am also responsible for writing all
Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle and Nital Etch procedures and
techniques as well as all in house on the job training of
NDT personnel.

I have experience with Olympus Epoch LTC, and XT as
well as the GE USM 32X, and USM 58L. I also have extensive
knowledge of the GE Automated UT shear wave twelve probe
inspection unit as well as the twenty-four probe GE
Automated Longitudinal inspection unit. I am also
experienced with a hand-held AC/DC yolk using dry visible
powder.

My primary responsibilities were detection and
location of discontinuities in DSAW steel oil and gas pipe
and steel coil while insuring all customer specifications
were met and exceeded. As well as on the job training of NDT personnel.
