Space exploration Technologies (SpaceX) Hawthorne, CA 2015-Present/ Lead Non-Destructive Technician
• Non-Destructive Technician, ASNT NAS410 Advanced Level II Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current Testing, and Liquid Dye Penetrant Testing. Provides engineering test results from examining structural welds (AWS welds, Friction Stir Welds) on rocket and rocket components. Practical knowledge of Phased Array equipment and Pulsed Eddy Current (EddyFi). Leads a team of technicians in inspection of composites. Advanced Level II Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing. Currently training in shearography and thermography. Provides engineering test results from examining composites on various rocket components. Supports the development of NDE inspection techniques for complex geometries. Assist in training and developing others within the team.

Other responsibilities included monitoring and assisting API crews, and conducting various in-shop and on call work for an array of customers. • Part-time Guardsmen from 2006-2010 and a full-time federal technician from 2008 to 2010
• Perform eddy current, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, and x-ray inspections for the C-130H aircraft. Identify corrosion, pitting, scratches, and cracks on C-130H aircraft and other aerospace components. Determine metallurgical composition of components according to alloy, temper, conductivity, and associated factors. Interpret non-destructive test results, and provide information about the defect to the respective repair center. Accustomed to working from technical orders such as: 33-1-1, 33B-1-2, and 1C-130A-36.
