Utilize Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies to perform tests on turbo machinery to ensure high quality construction and to detect product defects
o Visual Testing (VT)
o Penetrant Testing (PT) - Fluorescent-penetrant and red-dye penetrant baths for large batch sizes; Penetrant testing of single components and complex assemblies
o Magnetic particle testing (MT) - Test lengths up to 3200 mm and weights up to 2 t; Direct current (DC) testing for test lengths up to 2500 mm
o Ultrasonic Testing (UT) - Straight and angle beam; mechanized testing of circumferential welds
Calibrate required testing equipment to conduct quality inspections in a timely and cost-effective manner
