Experience
1) INSPECTION OF STATIC EQUIPMENT OF REFINERY:
· Approx. 7 years working experience in on and off-stream inspection of stationary equipment like Heaters, Columns, Vessels, Reactors, Air Coolers, Heat Exchangers, Safety Relief Valves, Boilers, Storage Tanks, Horton Spheres, Piping System, Structures, Fire Proofing, Insulation and Gas & Flare System in Petroleum Refineries.
· Determining retirement thickness for piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks etc. based on design and operational conditions.
· Witnessing and certifying hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of stationary equipment during shutdown and commissioning of equipment.
· Preparing Preventive Maintenance Schedule and Shut down job list for static equipment.
· Well conversant in inspection documentation and record keeping like history card, data card, thickness survey records etc. by using cardex and database software in oracle ( IMS-2000).
2) WELDING ENGINEERING AND QUALITY CONTROL OF WELDING:
· Experienced in Quality Control of welding for Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel and Non-ferrous metals.
· Selection of electrodes for welding various types of steels, welding procedure and welders performance qualification test as per ASME SEC IX.
· Conversation with various codes/standards related to welding viz AWS, ASME etc.
3) CORROSION MONITORING AND PREVENTION:
· Experienced in evaluation and assessment of various corrosion related problems in refinery equipment and piping.
· Recommending corrosion control measures by proper selection of materials, chemical injections, anodic protection, painting etc.
4) FAILURE ANALYSIS AND METALLOGRAPHY:
· Experienced in study, analysis and preparation of reports of various equipment failures in the refinery with the help of Chemical/Mechanical testing and Metallurgical laboratory practices.
· Insitu Metallography: Sample preparation for insitu Metallography, microstructural study of different samples. Condition monitoring of critical columns, vessels, furnace tubes, reactors by insitu Metallography.
5) NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING AND OTHER CONDITION MONITORING:
· Experienced in following NDT for inspection of Refinery Equipment.

· Having experience in commissioning and pre-commissioning inspection of newly constructed units in Oil Refinery.
