Summary
• Review contract specification/technical requirements, drawings etc. & prepare procedures inline with International codes and Standards.

Presently working as General Manager in a Metallurgical Testing laboratory.

Contribution towards Cross-Country pipeline Inspection , Coating inspection and HydroTesting for Vizag – Secunderabad pipeline job undertaken by Punj Lloyds.

Contribution towards development of procedures for NACE Corrosion Test (Four point bend SSCC Test). This includes design & development of Jigs/Fixtures test chambers as per NACE specification.
Successfully completed testing of 300 samples of Thai Nippon Steel for PTT Bongkot Phase 3D project under BVIS as certification agency & DNV as third party.

Training of candidates in ASNT Level-II (RT/UT/MT/PT) as per SNT-TC-1A guidelines. Successfully trained more than 100 candidates during this period.

Providing guidance in preparation of WPS for N11/N12 project under McDermott / EIL.

Training of Welders with SMAW/GTAW/MIG Processes. Performance Qualifications of welders as per approved WPS Procedure. Failure analysis of material/ weld material. Insitu Metallography of Material.

Upgradation of Company to ISO 9001 –2000.

Employee OFFSHORE HOOK UP AND SERVİCES

Worked as a Project Manager for Rs.180 crores project subcontracted by ONGC to M/s. Kvaerner Energy, UK for revamping of 3 turbines at SLQ Platform situated at Bombay High South, India. Independently managed the project involving Contract Review, Project Planning & Scheduling using Primavera, manpower estimation, selection, NDT procedures review and approval and further submission to client’s review and approval, training of man-power for ISO 9002, ASNT Level II and welding inspector certification, welder qualification, site execution, coordination with clients, third party inspection, material control and overall control to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Booster Compressor Upgradation Project:
Worked as Project Manager for Rs.1200 crores project subcontract by ONGC to M/s. Hyundai Heavy Industries for installation of Booster Compressor Platform at BPB Platform at Bombay High, India.

Job involved managing 350 manpower strength of different category for Hookup & modification work involving inch dia of welding and cable laying of 100 kms.

Major activities carried for revamping of three turbines. Same as that for the above project.



Independently managed the project involving Contract Review, Project Planning & Scheduling using Primavera, manpower estimation, selection, NDT procedures review

Worked as QA/QC Manager for Clampon project at Bombay High, India.

Job involved preparation of QA/QC plan, preparation of welding procedures/NDT procedures, Inspection of welds, quality control as per quality plan,HydroTesting Liaison with third party inspectors. Documentation as per the contract requirements.

BPA/BPB Upgradation Project (Essar Oil Limited):
Worked as Project Incharge for capacity enhancement at BPA/BPB Platform.
Job involved planning/coordination, execution of work at Offshore Platform for piping work of 2000-inch dia at each platform. Documentation such as Daily Progress Report, preparation of Activity Plan etc. BE/SBHT Project:
Worked as Project Incharge for hook-up & modification work at BA/BB/BC/BD/BPA/BPB Platforms at Bombay High Offshore. The work was subcontracted by M/s. Hyundai Heavy Industries & Samsung Heavy Industries, South Korea.

Piping / Electrical / Equipment Installation. Was instrumental in getting ISO-9002 for the company (first Offshore Company in India to get ISO-9002).
