Located in Northern IL area, this high volume automotive manufacturer is searching for an experienced Production Supervisor. To be considered, you must have at least 7 years experience, with at least 3 years in a Supervisory capacity. Responsibilities for this position will include planning, directing, leading and supervising the activities of the workers involved with the manufacture of various components. You will also be responsible for production schedules for work requirements for completion of job assignments, advise top management of ways to improve production, meet or exceed goals, and establish rates for labor efficiencies. Extensive knowledge of the processes, production methods, and capabilities of screw machines and CNC machines is a MUST! Knowledge and implementation skills of Lean manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, Kan Ban, etc., is strongly desired. A degreed individual is preferred.
