The successful candidate will have broad responsibility for leadership of an established nondestructive testing program, and for overseeing NDT and inspection laboratory areas.

Responsibilities include training, testing, and providing technical oversight for personnel performing NDT inspections. Preparing, updating, and maintaining NDT and inspection procedures.

Providing technical oversight of inspection laboratory facilities by assuring compliance with applicable environmental, safety, health, quality, and other requirements.

Will assist in all phases of the cycle for laboratory equipment, including recommendation, budgeting, specification, procurement, upgrading, maintenance, decommissioning, and disposal.

Interfacing with customers to plan and schedule work and the application of NDT techniques. Leading and participating in internal and external audits to assure compliance with quality program requirements.

BS in Engineering or Applied Science with a strong preference in Materials or Mechanical Engineering.

Level II or III certifications in UT, MT, PT, RT

Three to five years of experience in nondestructive testing and laboratory operations is highly desirable.
