POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Manager is primarily responsible for all Quality functions within their region.

In addition, the Quality Assurance Manager's Responsibilities include continuous quality improvement, internal auditing, and customer interface, developing procedures, performing various statistical analyses when requested by customer, reviewing new equipment, employee training. Other duties will include:

• Act as the, NDT Auditor, and Internal Auditor.

• Prepare, assist and lead all facilities through 2nd and 3rd party audits.

• Care and maintenance of all process equipment, special instruments, solutions, etc.

• Resolve any measurement and test equipment calibration issues.

• Review incoming request for quotes, as requested by the District/Region Manager, to identify quality requirements at that stage.

• Review incoming work orders and ensure that all necessary process sheets, inspection methods sheets, and techniques are prepared, as requested by the District/Region Manager.

• Work with customer to determined final interpretation and direct disposition of all non-conforming material

• Perform internal Quality system audits at all facilities within the region to ensure that all quality systems remain in conformance with certifications and customer requirements.

• Internal CAR program to include the receipt of all customer CAR and 8D forms and communicating with the customer concerning noteworthy non-conforming product.

• Review and approve all Internal Corrective Action Reports.

• Periodically review all Corrective Action Reports to identify and address any trends.

• Review and approve Quality related Purchase orders to ensure they contain the appropriate Quality requirements.

• Maintain a library of specifications, codes, government specs, and other documents.

• Control and maintain all Certification Records.

• Conducting QA Training

• Qualification and Certification of audit personnel

• Maintaining all Quality Records

REQUIREMENTS
• 2-5 years experience in a Quality role preferred
• Technical and administrative background in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control area with NDE experience.
• Must have familiarity with API, ANSI, AWS, ASME, ASNT and ASTM Codes.
• Level II certification in one or more NDE method preferred.
• Ability to self-direct in order to accomplish the work of the office.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team oriented skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Programs with strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced office environment

Physical demands commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job include; moving, carrying, lifting over one pound up to 30 pounds. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, acuity-near, accommodation and color vision.
