The chosen candidate will be responsible for:

•Inspection of parts in accordance with manufacturers’ repair/overhaul manuals or other specifications for the interpretation of indications found.
•Conducting tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) and establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
•Setting up, calibration, and utilization of nondestructive testing equipment within department.
•Work closely with CRT NDT Level III, Engineering, and Quality Engineering to evaluate and interpret indications.
•Apply test criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
•Organize and report test results and daily radiation reports.
•Perform specialized inspections and other job related tasks as assigned by management
•Remain up-do-date with industry standards and new developments within NDT.
Education and Experience:
•Certified Level II RT.
•Associate degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering or related technical field preferred.
•Computerized/digital radiography experiences a plus.
•Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel (IRRSP) or applicable agreement state card required.
•Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections.
