Cardno® PPI is seeking an OCTG Inspector to work in out of our Houston office for the Quality Assurance and Asset Management Division.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Monitoring the manufacturing, inspection and/or testing of materials
• Assuring compliance to manufacturer’s and client’s requirements for inspection activities at multiple supplier locations
• Completing effective reporting
• Maintaining an inspection time schedule
• Reviewing and verifying adherence to test & inspection procedures
• Verifying traceability of materials and certification
• Visiting of Supplier’s site (QC facilities, Calibration, Safety)
• Reviewing part drawings and Quality procedures to assure current revisions are being followed

Skills:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Oil Country Tubular Goods QA experience plus in Line Pipe, Drill Pipe/BHA Inspection, Manufacturing and Fabrication
• ASNT Level II qualified in MT, UT, ET and PT
• Experience in machining and threading of Accessories, API and proprietary connections
• Extensive customer contact/interaction and experience in narrative, detailed reporting
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Specification/code experience with API 5CT, RP 5A5, 5D, 5B, 5B1, 5L, Spec. 7, RP 7G, 1104, AWS D1.1, ISO-13680 and DS-1 is a plus
• TWIC card is a plus
