Acuren Inspection is looking for a Quality Assistant to
support the Quality organization.

Located in Dayton Ohio, with travel to local offices.

To Qualify: the Quality Assistant could be a
Recent NDT training graduate , that is interested in the
Quality Assurance track.

Know/understand, and enforce the Company written
practice(s) and the standards on which they are based
(SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, NAS-410, etc.) regarding
certification of NDT technicians.

Manage and audit technician certification data thru the
corporate RCMS database.
Insure adequate educational background for technicians
Insure adequate vision exams were conducted of
technicians
Confirm:

Adequate NDT Method training hours , IN RT, UT, MT PT

Adequate NDT Method experience hours IN, RT, UT, MT ,PT

Adequate testing

Monitor equipment calibration that is tracked through the
corporate QuickBase database application.
Monitor proficiency testing for the region
Familiarity with Acuren Intranet site and
location/organization of Policies and Procedures.
Have a working knowledge of applicable policies and
procedures.

Familiarity, understanding and working knowledge of the
Acuren Quality Management System (QMS).
Monitor Corrective Action Reports (CAR’s) for non-
compliance to QMS:

Communication of CAR through corporate QuickBase database
application.

Tracking of CAR progress

Initial response/immediate actions within 24 hours
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) within 10 business days
Corrective action complete within 30 business days.
Follow-up on late responses to corrective action requests
and reports.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

Working knowledge of the following certification
programs: Preferred-Not required
ASNT-TC-1A / CP-189 / NAS-410

Understanding of following quality systems: Preferred-
Not required
ISO 9001:2008 / ISO 17025:2005 / ISO 9712

Familiarity with various programs: Preferred-Not required
NADCAP / NUPIC / API / AWS
Familiarity with various accreditation vendors:
Preferred-Not required
Aclass / PRI
Strong computer software skills (MS Windows, Office
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Good verbal and written communication ability.
Minimum High School Diploma
