As a Nondestructive Examination Technician at Braun Intertec, you’ll be working side-by-side with experienced professionals at a company known to be a trusted partner and Midwest leader in Non-Destructive Examination for over 55 years.

Responsibilities:
-Perform Ultrasonic, Radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects
-Works independently as crew lead on job sites
-Train assistant on proper processes and procedures
-Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner
-Understands and utilizes safe work practices

Required Education and Experience:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Familiar with NDT equipment
-Experienced with NDT methods and procedures
-Must meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirement for experience and education
-Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
-Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
-Must be able to work off ladders and scaffold

Preferred Competencies:
-Post education in non-destructive testing
-IRRSP card for industrial radiography
-80 hours of RT classroom training
-40-hours radiation safety training
-TWIC badge a plus
-Recent experience performing magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, radiographic and visual inspections
