Oceaneering is looking for a NDT Level II Technician - UT
in Houston, TX.

The NDT Technician Level II will perform UT, MT, PT and
NDT industrial inspections onshore / offshore of piping,
pipelines, pressure vessels, and structural components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the
following, other duties may be assigned:

● Conduct tests with Ultrasonic Testing equipment
for various components and materials.
● Conduct tests in other NDT methods.
● Prepare, set-up and complete all necessary
documents.
● Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection
results through formal report paperwork.
● Set up and calibrate inspection equipment.
● Responsible for training and supervising Level I
UT trainees and other NDT trainees.
● Must be able to travel and work on a call-out
basis, both domestic and international.
● Assist other technicians.
● Work in harsh environments.
● Ability to work in a team environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Will direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.

High school diploma or general education equivalency
degree (GED) and minimum two (2) years of documented UT
Level II Shearwave work experience. Must be able to
certify to ASNT-TC-1A Level II required.

Additional Required:
● Must have a minimum of 80 hours of documented UT
training per SNT-TC-1A.
● API QUTE qualification and/or AWS D1.1 UT
experience a plus.
● Surface method Level II certifications are
preferred: PT, MT, and/or VT.
● Must be able to pass Safe Gulf & HUET Water
Survival training. Must possess or be able to obtain a
TWIC card, valid Passport, Safe Gulf & HUET Water
Survival.
