CALTROP Corporation (CALTROP) is currently seeking qualified candidates for Quality Assurance Inspection positions in support of various projects throughout the United States and Canada. The desired candidates would hold American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification and be capable of swiftly achieving Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level II Certifications in Magnetic Particle (MT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in accordance with CALTROP’s Written Practice for NDT. Documented evidence of past certification, experience, and training confirming ability to meet certification criteria of ASNT SNT-TC-1A for Level II MT and UT is required. Candidates with advanced ultrasonic training and expertise (PAUT/TOFD) are highly desirable. ASNT Level III certifications are also a plus, in addition to Level II skills in other NDT methods. Candidates possessing additional certifications (ICC’s, PCI, NACE) would be ideal for some of our construction projects, while American Petroleum Institute (API 510, 570, SIRE, SIFE, AQ/LQ) certifications would be ideal for our international procurement support projects. Fluent English is required in addition to basic computer skills for daily reports and tracking logs using Microsoft Office and CALTROP’s information management software. The assignment requires effective written, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team involving CALTROP staff, clients and construction contractors. Citizenship or permanent residence status in the US or Canada with the required work permit is required. Routine travel should be anticipated for most all positions with frequent travel needed for certain positions and technical roles. Compensation is based upon previous documented work experience and level of relevant professional certifications currently possessed.
