API 653 Inspectors
Streamline Inspection Ltd. requires certified API 653 Inspectors to travel to and from various sites to perform inspections throughout Canada. We are currently looking for API 653 Inspectors to move to Calgary Alberta for a full-time position. Streamline will pay for moving expenses.
Perform API 653 inspections, assessing inspection results, reporting all findings, and recommending any required repairs
Act as a Crew Lead and manage/motivate a crew of NDT technicians who will assist with all inspection activities
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with both clients and co-workers
Coordinate all on-site schedule logistics and contractor management
Observe and follow safety rules and practices, and other safety requirements for all projects
Role Specific Competencies:
Technical understanding of API 653 standard and all supporting documentation
Understanding of applicable provincial/federal regulatory requirements
Project coordination
Field inspection and work planning
Effective time management
Contractor management
On-site schedule logistics and schedule management
Project delivery
Technical writing and field inspection reporting skills
Project and process quality control monitoring
Exceptional attention to detail
Organizational skills
Strong work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Required Qualifications:
API 653 certification
Technically competent in the application of applicable codes, standards, and provincial/federal regulations related to API 653
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, and WHMIS training
Willingness to travel
Ability to perform physically demanding activities that may involve moving, setting up, and operating inspection equipment
Assets:
NDE certifications including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI)
Experience in:
o Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) technology
o Large storage tank inspections up to 300 in diameter
o CCME inspections
Minimum of 3 years experience performing aboveground tank inspections
API 653 certification
