DPSI is searching for a candidate interested in working outside the United States.
Candidate would be responsible to perform and complete NDT Services inspections at client site to include PAUT, MT, PT. Perform some or all of the various methods and techniques typically utilized in Ultrasonic Testing. Flaw Detection and Sizing utilizing Phased Array UT is required. Work closely with other team members and disciplines to gain a further understanding of projects and tasks as well as office procedures, policies and guidelines.
Essential Job Functions
• Job duties may include (Phased Array weld inspections, MT and PT inspections)
• Perform calibrations, NDE, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions.
• Perform internal and external inspections to determine if a weldment or equipment meets the acceptance criteria of a specific code, standard or document.
• Study equipment leak regulations applicable to location and customer base.
• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.
• Set up, utilize and calibrate Nondestructive Test equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Conduct test with Ultrasonic Testing automated and semi-automated UT Phased Array equipment.
• Interpret and record results of inspections.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
• Use a computer to compile and submit daily reports and inspection reports, as well as for inter-office communications.
• Compile and submit completed inspection report in a timely manner.

Education and Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Advanced Services
• Level II PAUT
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Some college preferred
• ASNT Approved Level II in UT, MT, PT Required

Skills:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of Advanced Services equipment (i.e. Omniscan, Olympus SX, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to read and write reports using Microsoft Office, including the ability to read and write reports using Microsoft Office
• Good oral and written communication
• Must be able to read results from inspection equipment
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• ASME B31.3, and the CWI required Body of Knowledge.
