API Inspector Unit Inspector


Acuren Inspection, Inc. is currently seeking an API Inspector for our LaPorte, TX office.

The following skills, experience and qualifications are required:

• A current API 510, 570, 653 Certification is a plus

API 510/570 (653 along with the 510/570 would be a plus)
10-years experience as a Unit Inspector
Experience with Meridium software

Mechanical Integrity Experience (writing repair plans,

expected life calculations, etc.)

Preferred Skills:
• Computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
• Technical Report writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comply with all Acuren and Client quality/safety procedures and policies
• Compile field notes, historic documentation, and drawings to produce technical inspection reports
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with the client and co-workers

Specific Skills:
• Technical report writing skills
• Computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Physical Demands
• Performing general physical activities
• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and stooping.
• Tasks may also include physically moving and setting up inspection equipment (Maximum component weight +/- 50 lbs)
