ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assure manufactured products meet established quality requirements through proper application of non-destructive examination methods. Facilitates joint action with operations, supplier, and customer resources to assure conformance to requirements is maintained.
• Serve as a resource for application and interpretation of the Fisher Nondestructive Examination program. This includes:
o Maintain all NDE training, methods, and compliance records as required.
o Insure compliance of the Fisher NDE program with applicable codes and standards is maintained.
• Maintain orderly, safe, and efficient operation of the Marshalltown NDE facility and equipment.
• Assist various manufacturing personnel in defining and communicating corrective action for part non-conformance.
• Serve as a "back-up" to key Quality Assurance personnel including supervisor and Q.A. Analyst.

Skills:
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have good knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Requires in depth knowledge of Fisher LSC/Nuclear, material, and customer processing specifications
• Requires a thorough understanding of NDE principles as they are employed at Fisher Controls. This also includes codes and specifications as related to Fisher products.
Position may also require expertise in one or more of the following:
• CMM and Nuclear support
• QA program(s) support and maintenance
• Gaging and Metrology
• QA Documentation processing
• Inspection tools including CMM technology
• Material testing tools and skills
