Mistras is looking for a high caliber individual to grow and maintain a large account. High-level skills and confidence are a must. The account has a potential to be a twelve million dollar annual account. The Account Manager is responsible for meeting the customer’s needs and assuring good customer service through managing all aspects of the account with multiple site customers. This includes quoting jobs, scheduling projects, and technicians, supplying equipment to meet project specifications, developing and maintaining strong customer relations and reacting promptly to customer questions and concerns. The Account Manager will also maintain a high functioning employee base through solid HR practices and safety education and awareness programs. The Account Manager will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities at the site.


•Be onsite to manage daily activities and costs associated within the account on a daily basis.
•Work with the Operations and Refinery Business Manager to fill the needs of the site.
•Direct supervision of working supervisors/coordinators.
•Supervise individuals within the Operations Support Department as it relates to projects.
•Problem solving and providing clear, supported, and concise recommendation to management.
•Properly complete all required forms and paperwork.
•Ensure proper use of all company resources; including tools, equipment and vehicles.
•Oversee maintenance and control of Mistras office, assets, and equipment.
•Evaluate technician’s effectiveness in fulfilling their job requirements in conjunction with the supervisors/coordinators.
•Recommend corrective or remedial action for employees.
•Understand all prerequisites required of personnel before performing fieldwork.
•Serve as liaison with customers to estimate and quote project work.
•Coordinate and schedule work crews to cover customer requirements and requests.
•Complete all required training, and testing, within company guidelines.
•Knowledge of all company products and services that is available to our customers.
•Provide mentor leadership to employees.
•Perform Job Walks as necessary.
•Perform quality & safety audits.
•Aide in QA/QC Issues/Problems as needed.
•Support the Refinery Business Manager with Turnaround Planning

purchasing of Equipment
General Functions (cont.):
•Completes requisition forms to order additional equipment and supplies.
•Purchases small tools and any supplies needed for the equipment and /or work crews.
•Issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and accounting system.
•Keep inventory up to date.
•Updating weekly schedule.
•Other duties as assigned by GM, Operations Manager, and/or Mistras Senior Management.

•3-5 years of management experience.
•Strong knowledge of managing principles.
•Delegation and follow up skills.
•Strong communication skills to promote good team environment and strong relationship with the clients.
•Strong logical thinking abilities.
•Effective communicator with the ability to mitigate emotional customer and employee situations.
•Must possess an understanding of MISTRAS’ Advanced Technology offerings.
•Must have strong customer relation skills.
•High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three years of related experience and /or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Valid Driver’s License.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
•Speak effectively before groups of customer or employees.
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
•Advanced skills with word processing software, spreadsheet software, email software, and the use of the internet.
•Degree and/or certification in business a plus.
•Sales and/or marketing experience a plus.

•Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
