NDT Technician II Contractor
2-3 Month Contract position
o Temp to full time opportunity available
· Certified Level II for Film X-Ray, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI).
o Preferably filled by 1 full time employee, 70% in FPI, 15% in X-Ray and 15% in MPI
· Must be able to produce evidence of compliance to NAS 410:
o Evidence of formal training for the disciplines practiced AND EITHER:
§ Logbook showing satisfactory OJT hours for the disciplines practiced, OR
NDT Level II Employer Certification Letter from Contract Organization
· Ability to read, write and understand written work instructions in English.
· Must be able to produce passing near vision eye examination –
§ Jaeger No. 1 or equivalent, not less than 3Ocm/l2 inches in at least one eye, natural or corrected.
§ Color Perception - capable of adequately distinguishing and differentiating colors used in the process involved.
· Active IRRSP (Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel) Certification
o Applicable for Film X-Ray Inspectors only.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40
