We are currently seeking a fulltime API 510 / 653 Resident Inspector for our client site in Oglethorpe, GA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations
Alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns
Candidate will perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain the mechanical integrity of the fixed equipment of varied off shore assets
Candidate should be detail orientated and be capable of recommending and approving repairs as well as performing visual inspection of completed work
Completes customer and company job related forms and paperwork
Communicate effectively with customers (excellent written and verbal communication skills required)
Complete all required training, including tests, within ATS guidelines
Learns all company products and services that are available to our customers
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
0-2 years experience as an API Inspector 510 and/or 653 Inspector
NDT certifications preferred but not required
Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Ex-military personnel are encouraged to apply
MT/UTT/ VT certifications preferred
Knowledge of ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, nondestructive testing, nondestructive inspection required
Work conditions :
Work Environment Candidate must be capable of climbing, working at high elevations and working in confined spaces. Flexible work schedule.
