As a Level II Technician you are qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. As a Level II Technicians you are familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistants and Level I Technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concerns
• Set-up and calibrate equipment
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT Technique
• Interpret, evaluate and document results
• Familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and shall be capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel
• Familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Contribute effectively to a team environment
• Communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Comply with all CUT and Client quality/safety procedures and policies
• Compile field notes and drawings to produce technical reports
Radiography Only
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment as necessary and where applicable
• Transport industrial radiographic equipment in accordance with all applicable federal/state transportation regulations and local requirements
• Utilize industrial radiographic equipment in a manner prescribed by the manufacturer and in accordance with all applicable federal/state regulations and local requirements
• Create an atmosphere of trust and respect
• Coach/Mentor Team Members
• Communicate with customers and other parties in such a manner as to benefit the professional reputation of the company

Skills:
Minimum Requirements, Education and experience

1. Current Level II Certification in RT,UT,PT,MT
2. Documented OJT and experience
3. Highschool Diploma or GED
