Description: Job Summary / Purpose
Responsible for providing Governance and Oversight of the Inspection Services processes and vendor performance. Responsible for seeking out fleet and industry best practices related to the Inspection Service implementation. Will also be responsible for driving organizational improvements related to inspection services for Reactor Head Inspections, Steam Generator Inspections, In-vessel inspections (IVVI) and In-service Inspections.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
Will provides assistance to the Manager Fleet Inspection Services driving for organizational improvements related to inspection services. Will assist in coordination with the Director of Alliances to optimize fleet inspection services for Reactor Head Inspections, Steam Generator Inspections, In-vessel inspections (IVVI) and In-service Inspections (ISI). Recommend and implement actions to improve and optimize practices related to the Inspection Services organization.
Interface with regulatory and industry representatives on behalf of the Inspection Services and will work with management to identify and correct performance issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum experience required of the position
Minimum 8 years experience in ISI/NDE. Desired: Strong working knowledge in construction and in-service codes beyond the aspects of NDE.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Have knowledge of ASME code requirements and Risk Informed ISI. Knowledge of ISI/NDE databases. Have some skill in project management. Be knowledgeable in various NDE methods. Be able to provide leadership and direction for preparing and/or performing NDE activities at the respective site. Be responsible for the pursuit of cost reductions and maximizing value on all assigned projects. Be able to review and approve contractors' personnel certifications, procedures and equipment.
