Position Summary:

The Regional Auditor, will lead and champion safety and quality within their region. Performs a wide variety of inspection and quality control audits e.g. visual, dimensional, functional, safety (HSE and RAM) and non-destructive methods and techniques, to make necessary critical observations, tests, and completing appropriate documentation as required. Seeks to find areas of improvement, reports and analyzes all findings and identify trends to management. Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the safety and quality programs across the region and driving improvements within the organization. This position will have dual reporting to both the Sr. Technical Manager and Regional Operations Leadership.



Key Responsibilities:
•Initiate large jobs and interface with customers at the beginning of and through projects
•Report problems immediately noted in the field and corrective actions within 24 hours or earlier depending on severity
•Assist in quality investigation support
•Review inspection records and film for compliance. Ensure project scope is in line with records and management expectations.
•Maintain all site requirements (including PPE and clean-shaven as required)Participate in training activities, as provided, to enhance skills. Coach and lead employees.
•Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts
•Visit various Shawcor, Inspection Services offices and work sites and perform infield audits for compliance (JSA, HSE, Field, Radiation, and Film). Report findings in Velocity and other systems as required.
•Attend weekly meetings to inform management of concerns and findings
•Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports identifying trends both positive and negative to leadership.
•Stays up to date and knowledgeable in all methods which are audited
•Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
•Running a crew as needed

Skills:
Required Qualifications and Competencies for the Position:
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Certified to ASNT Level II in MT, PT, UT and RT, and Level III preferred. If not ASNT Level III certified, must be certifiable to company Level III requirements in RT as a minimum. Must have good working knowledge of MT, PT and UT methods
•3 years’ experience in Quality Control inspection and working with NDT methods preferred
•In-depth understanding of API and ASME codes. Knowledge of other codes a plus
•Working knowledge of and ability to follow internal procedures to ensure compliance in the filed
•Self-motivated and reliable
•Ability to self-direct work schedule and take directions from leadership

•Ability to lead others

•Ability to share on-the-job knowledge with others
•Ability to communicate with multiple levels of employees

•Observe, coach and mentor all activities on location
•75+% Travel required
Working Conditions:

•Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing, visual acuity, accommodation and color vision
•Moving, carrying and lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds
•Climbing and working off of ladders, stairs and scaffolding in excess of 100 feet
•Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time
•Working in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and cold
