Our Waterford, CT location is in need of 2-5 Field Engineers to support an Outage beginning in October and running through 2020. 

Field Engineer Requirements/Responsibilities

Skill Set:

A working knowledge of PWR reactor vessel design and components is required.
Experience in the layout and functioning of a PWR refueling floor – especially during outage configuration.
Project Management and/or supervisory experience would be preferred.
Computer skills including experience with Excel, Word, OneNote etc. Specific knowledge of the Duke system and associated software would be a definite plus.
Must be radworker qualified.
Responsibilities: 

Interface with a large contingent (≈25 or more) of contract automated NDE personnel.
Interface with outage support personnel including Maintenance, Operations, ALARA, RP, Reactor Services, Facilities etc. to ensure all required support activities are completed in a timely manner.
Interface with site management groups (Outage Management, Engineering, Scheduling, etc.) as required to facilitate completion of the required examination scope.
General support to troubleshoot and facilitate resolution of field activity issues that may arise during site access, equipment setup/teardown, scope completion and site demob.
Attendance at daily pre-job briefs and team meetings including occasionally leading or performing the brief or meeting. 


Per Diem and work hours are to be determined.
