Position Purpose:
* The main function of the Inspection Project Manager is to be responsible for managing the completion of inspections, reporting, and billing. Inspectors are thoroughly familiar with the scope and methods of the inspections being used and should perform assigned responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Promote quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous Improvement and corrective action to influence the overall success of company business.
* Assist review of Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan and Quality Procedures and all pertained QA/QC documentation prior to commencement of any fabrication construction work.
* Oversee welding inspection services.
* Manage coordinatation of inspection for other fabrication tasks (NDE, Coating, Welding) as defined by client.
* Conduct quality surveillance at suppliers contactors to promote project's quality culture.
* Track project performance against project schedule.
* Provide weekly reporting to client.

Ensure suppliers /contractors have relevant, up to date codes, standards, specifications and drawings.
* Interface with the discipline engineer, construction engineer, and inspectors In a professional manner.
* Support personnel by performing additional tasks as directed and commensurate with his/her skills.
* Approve a work Supplier I Contractor has been by attending Inspection I test or reviewing documents.
* Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
* Oversee inspection of mechanical equipment, piping, structure and welding activities conducted at shops and construction sites.
* Review original material certificate for compliance to codes and specifications.
* Ensure testing, measuring, welding, NOE equipment Is fully calibrated per specification and has current certification.
* Ensure storage and handling of welding consumables Is per manufacturer's recommendations I specifications and has a certification.
* Verify that equipment is preserved per the supplier's recommendation and the approved preservation procedures.
* Verify HFE requirement (accessibility of valve, field run piping) against specification.
* Witness / Participate Equipment Receiving Inspection at construction site to identify damage or deficiency with Contractors.
* Witness in-process inspections and Inspection Requests to ensure work proceeds in accordance to specifications, the approved drawings and procedures.
* Assist insulation inspection if required.
* Verify the correct test pressure Is applied during the hydro test against specifications and codes and all safety requirements have been addressed.
* Verify rogue and counterfeit items during inspection or surveillance and immediately report to Inspection Coordinator / Quality Manager if any.
* Actively participate in safety meetings and walk-down program.
* Progressively review Supplier's contractor's quality record.
* Review welder qualifications certificate.
* Ensure complete record and traceability of material and weld joint's history.
* Monitor NDE and coating process.
* Assist Quality audit upon request.
* Actively participate Flawless Surveillance Program.
* Issue and follow up of Non-conformity Report.
* Liaise with Inspection leads and contractors to remediate quality management problems.
* Discuss quality trend with Quality Engineer / Inspection Coordinator and provide Improvement plan if any.
* Provide resolution of on-going quality issue in consultation with discipline engineer.
* Practice a conscientious teamwork effort towards the functions of the company.
* Experience working in difficult locations and with diverse construction personnel (remote, foreign, arctic, etc.).
* Flexible work hours with weekend work required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Mentor and train coworkers assigned to you through on the job training in safe work practices, technical skills and compliance with company policy.
* Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed

Knowledge and Skills:
* Experience with all processes (cutting, welding, assembly, coating, testing, shipping, etc.) required for manufacturing, assembly, and testing of Engineered Package Equipment.
* Experience with Engineered Package Equipment;knowledge of EPC's (Worley, Jacobs, CB&I, WOOD, Fluor, Bechtel,
* Must have in vendor surveillance experience.

Education and Work Experience:
* Inspection project management experience.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Technical Background in Mechanical and NDT methods and techniques .
* Certifications required:Welding, NDE, Coating.

Certificates and Licenses Required:
* Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
* Requires certification(s) in the relevant inspection discipline and experience applying the discipline skill to oil and gas equipment.
