POSITION SUMMARY: International Inspection Inc. has a full-time Level III SPRAT and/or IRATA position available in Seattle, WA. Must be local to the Seattle area or willing to relocate. Extensive travel is required.
Perform duties of a level III SPRAT and/or IRATA Rope Access worker within your perspective certification.
Perform standard rope access techniques and complying with strict safety standards and applicable codes
Meet clients and generate proposals for inspections, testing and installations
Perform inspections on suspended access and fall protection equipment in accordance with OSHA, ASTM, ISO, ANSI, IWCA and ASME requirements
Perform load-testing of anchors and suspended access equipment
Assist with the installation of equipment
Perform inspections on other equipment (as needed)
Generate certification reports
Level III SPRAT or IRATA Certification
Required national and international travel documents for projects
Willingness to work occasional night and weekend projects v/s normal day shifts
Strong mechanical aptitude
Be team oriented and have a positive attitude
Strong oral and written communications skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of customer representatives
Good organizational and project management skills
Ability and willingness to lift up to 75lbs and work near roof edges with proper fall protection
Strong safety awareness in a variety of construction settings
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge of façade access equipment is preferred
Familiarity with standard construction codes and processes is preferred
Construction experience is preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS: Level III Rope Access technicians may work in confined spaces or be subject to heights. Must be comfortable in all working situations, comfortable working in areas around machinery with extreme noise levels, and must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection. This position may travel to more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes. Ideal candidates will be willing and able to travel and work varying schedules.
