MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time API 510/570/653 Inspector with NDT certifications in MT/MT/VT/UTT to support mechanical integrity inspections within in the OH/WV/PA region.
This is a permanent, fulltime position and it is preferred the applicant lives within the OH/WV/PA borders.
Possess the related API certification (510) and one of the other two API certifications and be ready to test out for the missing API certification.
The NDT certifications are also must have or be able to obtain immediately if the applicant has some of the required NDT certifications.
Must have good knowledge of the API Codes and repairs.
Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.
Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel and be able to write detailed inspection reports.
Must have the ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.
Capable of climbing, working at high elevations and working in confined spaces.
Must be able to walk and climb to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
Must have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively;
Must have sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to conduct investigations.
Must have sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to perform routine office duties.
