Summary: Personnel considered for Project Manager should have an AAS degree or higher or sufficient training and supervising experience in an industrial setting. Shall be thoroughly familiar with all nondestructive testing methods and be able to prepare written instructions, and to organize and report the results of nondestructive tests to the client.

Responsibilities/Duties:

 Manage up to 20 NDT technicians on a daily basis in a heavy industrial environment
 Strong knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA requirements
 NAVSEA experience is a plus

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: (that may be surveyed by examination):

 A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field as an NDT Technician
 Knowledge in Visual Testing, VT, Magnetic Particle Testing, MT, Penetrant Testing, PT, Ultrasonic Testing, UT and Radiographic Testing, RT
 Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage others
 Demonstrated leadership skills proven in NDT or possibly a similar industry
 Professional demeanor and appearance
 Demonstrated organizational skills  Poses excellent written and verbal skills
 Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
 Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
 Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
 Lift up to 50 pounds.
 Work shift up to 12 hours/day and 6 days/week.

• Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
• Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
• Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
