In this role the successful individual should be qualified to properly perform specific ultrasonic calibrations, conduct specific testing and be able to record results. The candidate shall receive the necessary instruction from an Ultrasonic Level II or Level III.

•Operate and assist in calibration of automated UT machines
•Conduct equipment changeover for size change
•Monitor test software and equipment to ensure product quality
•Communicate test results to superiors and peers
•Manufacturing of calibration standards
•Conduct equipment maintenance
•Other assigned duties
Skills:
•Level I Ultrasonic Certification to SNT-TC-1A with minimum 400 hours of documented OJT
•Must be able to pass the Math Skills Test
•Able to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime
•Able to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust and noise
•20/25 Corrected Near Vision in both eyes (tested annually)
•Successful completion of Color Discrimination Test (tested annually)
•Flexibility and willingness to learn and accept changes in job duties
•Able to work independently or in team environment
•Requires close observation and concentration skills during inspection of product and operation of equipment
•Good manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, and mechanical aptitude
•Proficient with Microsoft windows based software programs and MS office
•Good planning and organizational skills
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Advanced reading, writing, and math skills
•Successful completion ergonomics evaluation of physical requirements of position (routinely requires standing for long periods of time, occasional sitting, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs., pulling, pushing, reaching/crouching)

Preferred:

•6-12 months experience in an industrial environment preferred
