U.S. Inspection & NDT, LLC is seeking an experienced Level III QC/QA Manager in Harrison Valley, Pennsylvania.
Skills:
Position Summary:
Be capable of developing, qualifying, and approving procedures; establishing and approving techniques; interpreting codes, standards, specifications, and procedures; and designating the NDT methods, techniques, and procedures to be used.


Key Responsibilities:
• Have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available.
• Set up and utilize various NDT equipment in conjunction with NDT level I and II personnel.
• Be responsible for conducting training and examinations of NDT level I and II personnel for certifications.
• Prepare vendor procedure reviews, reports, and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct effective communication in regard to NDT topics with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing departments.
• Ensuring strict adherence to industrial safety and health guidelines and our radiation safety program and regulations.
• Train lower level NDT Technicians in work procedures and methods
• Capable of developing, qualifying and approving non-destructive testing procedures and associated techniques.
• Understands and utilizes safe work practices.


Required Qualifications:
• ASNT Level III Certification in RT, MT, PT, and UT.
• Certification or certifiable in VT.
• Ten years’ experience using non-destructive testing in a related industry.
• Experience with non-destructive testing techniques and the development of training programs and materials; should have familiarity with other appropriate non-destructive testing methods
• Demonstrated capability in developing non-destructive testing Level I and II training and testing material and administering training programs for non-destructive testing personnel for certification and re-certification.
• Possesses a current valid passport or be qualified to obtain one.
• Knowledge of operations, equipment and machinery, including some hands-on experience.
• Capable of using MS Office tools such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience giving presentations to management regarding project results.
• Experience writing technical reports summarizing key findings and identifying next steps.
• Experience working with interdepartmental teams at all levels of management to accomplish tasks.
• Able to work effectively with hourly and management ranks.
