Canyon State Inspection Inc. (CSI) is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to support our Phoenix, AZ. location. NAS410 Level II magnetic particle, penetrant, eddy current, and ultrasonic certification is required. Training in accordance with NAS 410 in radiographic methods is a plus.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Level II technician completes various types of NDT inspections both in our facility as well as clients job sites.
• Set up and breakdown of equipment
• Surface prep
• Applying testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• Perform other job related tasks as assigned

Skills Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• NAS 410 Level II Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Eddy Current & Ultrasonic certifications
• Formal training IAW NSA 410 in Radiographic methods
• Shop math and reading skills
• Must be willing to travel and remain out of town for extended periods of time
• Ability to use basic computer functions for data entry
• Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Applicants must complete a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Working overtime as requested
• Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated

Must be able to meet the following physical demands:
• Climbing-ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps
• Stooping, bending, crouching, reaching
