Camera’s Outstanding Features
The video borescope demonstrates optimal tip articulation, unexpected in a device of its class and price range. The 1 m (3.3’) and 2 m (6.5’) probes articulate 180 degrees in 2 directions and 3 m (9.8’) probes can "see" 120 degrees in each direction. A high-resolution CMOS video chip (100,000 pixels) is integrated in the tip of the articulating probe and captures clear, bright images of the inspection area. The probes are waterproof and stainless steel braided, optimized for additional longevity in multiple inspection cycles. They are equipped with a lock that locks the neck in a desire position.
The control base is light-weight, featuring intuitive control buttons, 3.5" color digital LCD and an anti-slip handle. Operators can easily perform inspections, zoom in and zoom out, use mirroring and grid functions to observe every detail of the problem area. Inspection findings can be also saved to an SD memory card that is inserted into an "open" slot, eliminating the need to open and close the cap. USB interface allows users to transfer info to a laptop or stream it on a larger display via AV output jack.
The Rigel Articulating Video Borescope is powered by a long-lasting rechargeable LI-polymer battery that requires only 2 hours to recharge.
