Álava Ingieros to Distribute Tecnatom NDT Instruments in Spain, Portugal, and South America

TECNATOM AND ÁLAVA INGENIEROS JOIN CAPACITIES FOR THE
DISTRIBUTION OF NON‐DESTRUCTIVE TESTING INSTRUMENTS IN SPAIN,
PORTUGAL, LATIN AMERICA AND MAGHREB COUNTRIES

Tecnatom, a leading company in the design and manufacture of equipment
and systems based on non‐destructive testing systems, entrusts Álava
Ingenieros, specialized in providing high technology, for the distribution of its
new ultrasonic inspection systems and Eddy currents.

Álava Ingenieros thus becomes technology partner of Tecnatom and will
distribute these instruments of nondestructive testing to the markets of
Spain, Portugal, Maghreb countries, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela,
Colombia and Central America.

With the signing of this strategic agreement, both companies strengthen
their leadership in the advanced technology sector under the framework of
the 13th National Congress of NDT from 6 to 8 May in Seville (Spain) to
confirm their alliance.

Seville, May 8 2015.‐ The 13th National Congress of END, organized by the
Spanish Association of Non‐Destructive Testing (AEND) and being held in
Seville (Spain) on 6‐8 May, is the scenario chosen by the companies
Tecnatom and Álava Ingenieros to confirm their partnership in the area of
supplies of non‐destructive testing instruments. Álava Ingenieros thus
becomes official distributor of Tecnatom and will spread its NDT
instrumentation to the markets of Spain, Portugal, Maghreb countries, Peru,
Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia and Central America.Specifically the
agreement involves the distribution of new ultrasonic inspection systems and
Eddy currents, developed by Tecnatom.

For Maria Teresa Aguado, deputy director of Technology and Product
Development of Tecnatom, "this agreement will allow us to position
ourselves in new markets in the hands of Álava Ingenieros, which already has
proven experience in areas to be explored yet by Tecnatom".

The Vice President of Álava Ingenieros Group, José María Almazán, is
stressed that "the alliance with Tecnatom, a leading company in non‐
destructive testing, is an important step in our positioning as providers of
high‐tech sectors of great complexity, as aerospace or nuclear power, and
strengthens both Spanish companies in markets of practically the entire
world".
