As new members to the rapidly growing team of highly qualified and
experienced ACFM® operators, Peter Dunmore and Mark Loughran have
now successfully completed their PCN ACFM® Level 2 training at Lavender
International, Sheffield.

PCN is a worldwide recognised personnel certification scheme in NDT
methods, welding inspection and condition monitoring and is designed to set
and maintain the highest standards for the proficiency of NDT personnel
through independent assessment and examination. The PCN scheme is also
defined to meet, as a minimum, the criteria specified in relevant European
and International standards; registered under a European Multilateral Mutual
Recognition Agreement (MRA). In the UK the scheme is upheld by the
British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT). As a scheme PCN is
accredited by UKAS according to ISO 17024 and conforms to BS EN ISO
9712 (2012). Few, if any, other independent NDT personnel certification
schemes offer a similar level of compliance with such a wide number of
standards. It goes without saying that the integrity and thoroughness of the
PCN certification scheme carries worldwide respect, earning an enviable
reputation.

Peter Dunmore stated: "Now I have completed my PCN ACFM Level 2
training with the Lavender team I am now up to date and qualified to become
a full and "approved" member of the Inspection Services Team and am ready
to be deployed by TSC on inspection campaigns, anywhere in the world.
After joining the company several months ago and learning more about the
challenges faced in the offshore and subsea environments, I am keen to get
out there and put my experience and ACFM knowledge to work in the field".

Dave Parramore, TSC’s Engineering and Subsea Operations Director,
commented: "As the owner of the ACFM® technology, TSC Inspection
Systems aims to provide onshore and offshore ACFM® inspections of the
highest quality. Using our own personnel as operators is an important part of
our strategy to achieve and maintain excellence in the delivery of TSC’s
inspection projects and technology, especially as our subsea work often
involves the access of highly specialised equipment in very challenging
environments. I am delighted with the successful completion of the ACFM®
Level 2 training by Mark and Peter."
