Virtek Boosts Efficiencies in Assembly and Visual Inspection with Laser-Based Solutions
Posted:
Companies are continually looking for ways to speed up assembly and Virtek’s new Iris™ 3D with the Vision Positioning System (VPS) helps its customers achieve this. Debuting to the Americas at CAMX 2017 in Orlando, Virtek will be demonstrating the Vision Positioning System at booth #L51.

Through Iris 3D with VPS, Virtek continues to innovate and exceed the boundaries of traditional laser projection while improving the tech firm’s already-innovative product lineup. Iris 3D with VPS is easy to use and continues to improve workplace productivity, eliminating costly delays – a hallmark of Virtek’s product offering.

"Laser projection paired with vision technology has proven to dramatically improve process efficiency in the composite and aerospace markets," said Sean Francoz, senior product manager at Virtek. "These innovations are already in production drastically improving manufacturing processes across North America and Europe."
With a smaller, faster scanning system, improved portability, and FlashAlign™ — a new feature eliminating manual target alignment — Iris 3D with VPS reaffirms Virtek’s position as the global leader in laser templating and spatial positioning systems.

Beyond the VPS system, Virtek introduces a new Laser Projector (LPS-10), an upgrade to the incredibly successful LPS-7. This new laser projection system offers both short- and long-range capabilities.

These advancements in software and hardware demonstrate Virtek’s commitment to innovation and tailoring products to the needs of every customer.

"With constant change in our customers’ markets and processes, they need flexible solutions that are able to move between applications," stated Todd Rhodes, Virtek’s vice president and general manager. "Our customers rely on accuracy and precision because it translates to quality, which is paramount to their end products. Virtek offers them more than 30 years of innovation, service and support to help them deliver reliable solutions that solve their production challenges."
