Ashtead Opens iPEK Crawler Service Center

Ashtead Technology’s recent move to new larger, modern facilities has enabled the development of a dedicated service/repair centre for the iPEK range of pipeline inspection equipment.
The iPEK equipment includes the popular Rovver and Rovion crawler cameras and the Agilios push rod camera. Regional Sales Manager Jay Neermul says: "We are seeing increased demand for this service as our business grows and as customers recognise the quality and speed of service that we are now able to deliver.
"In addition to investments in infrastructure, spares and consumables, our staff have also attended manufacturer training sessions. For example, James Huff recently attended the ‘Rovion – Black Belt’ and ‘ATEX Service Training’ courses in Germany, and as a result, he is now our lead iPEK repairer.
"Typical service work includes reel re-termination and camera connector replacement, as well as normal test, repair and maintenance work. In addition, our rental fleet includes replacement cameras that can help minimise downtime," he adds.
