Responsibilities includes: Had been engaged in the inspection, coordination, monitoring, expedition, documentation and review of technical procedures. Experienced in execution of Structural Steel projects for various plants such as Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Storage Tanks and Pressure Vessels. Expertise in Quality Assurance documentation and procedure review, Quality Control inspections, Welding Inspection / NDT. Various aspects of my assignments include;
Conducting and participation of pre-inspection/kick-off meetings with client and third party inspectors and formulating the ways of inspection at par with the approved inspection test plan (ITP).
Inspection of raw material as per procurement order (P.O.) and reviewing of mill test certificate (MTC) and related procurement documents in accordance with applicable code like ASTM A 6M/A6, A 53, A 105, A 234, SA 335, API RP 574, for piping, tubing, valves, fittings etc. and various other specifications. To assure the versatility of some certain raw materials, reviewing and carrying out material Hardness testing and monitoring for the requirement for the lamination test for critical plate components.

While qualified as a Certified Welding Inspector, carrying out welding inspection of all kinds of structures, with the special interest in Vessels, Storage tanks, Ductings, critical crane components etc. as per the related applicable codes and have been well experienced with API 650, API 620.

Review of contract documents to identify any special Quality Control requirements for suitability of compliance. Review and Improvement of Quality Control Procedures to implement various requirements of applicable international standards like, AWS, AISC, API and ASME etc.
Investigation of site mismatches reviewing erection and fabrication drawings and deducing the causes of mismatching, summarization of backcharges.
Process and coating inspection of galvanizing as per ASTM 123, and BS 729, Blasting and painting inspection of steel structures.
Inspection of Insulated structures. Reviewing anchor requirements of heater parts as per various refractory requirements such as castable refractories, ceramic fiber blankets, ceramic fiber modules etc.
Refractory and blanketing insulation inspection for refinery Ducts stack and modules. Inspection of refractory lining for the refinery vacuum heater structures.
Have been well versed with API 650, and experienced in the design analysis of atmospheric storage tank, with the helps of the norms given in section-3. Expedited the fabrication, erection, QA/QC monitoring and inspection. Inspection of storage tanks as per Section-6 of API 650. Have worked with Saudi Aramco Specs. 32-SAMSS-005, for the manufacturing of low atmospheric tank.

„« In 2004-2005, Qassim Cement Plant Preheater, Raw Mill & Cement Mill Projects (Marubeni-IHI Japan): Worked as a Project Manager for 35MSR cost project with 4850 MT weight of structural steel supply for the Preheater and Raw Mill/Cement Mill Structures of Qassim cement plant Qassim, Buraidah, Saudi Arabia, with the main contractor Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co. Ltd (IHI)-Japan during 2004-2005. The project took 7-months in the Design Detailing, Fabrication, treatment and supply of 4850 MT weight to the erection site of Qassim Saudi Arabia.

„« In 2003 - 2004, Alba Air-Cooled Condensor (Hamon Dry Cooling-A division of SPX): Worked as a Site Manager in this 20MSR (Including erection) cost ACC Project for Aluminium Bahrain for the Line-5 extension of Power Station-4. ACC comprised of 2-units and 8-streets of A-frame structure with the tube bundles, condensate and exhaust ducts with the air drag fan drive system. It took around 8-months to complete the fabrication, supply, erection and testing of ACC units with tube bundles of altogether 4300MT weight. The main contractor of the project was Alstom Power and the end user was Alba Bahrain.
